With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit, healthcare, and education sectors, she specializes in building strategic partnerships and driving organizational growth. As a survivor of domestic abuse, Christa brings both lived experience and professional expertise to her work at FinAbility. Christa holds a PhD from the University of Denver and is a keynote speaker and published author featured in national and international media. Her previous work includes fundraising and partnership strategies, leading standards for a credentialing body of 120,000+ members, and collaborating with financial institutions to promote resilience and longevity. Her leadership is grounded in survivor-centered advocacy and a commitment to building trauma-informed, inclusive, and equitable systems.
